Refund Policy
How BTG handles duplicate charges, billing errors, cooling-off rights, and exceptional refund requests.
Effective 23 August 2026
General approach
BTG reviews refund requests fairly based on the charge, the service supplied, and the consumer law that applies. This policy does not remove any refund, cancellation, or cooling-off right that cannot legally be excluded.
Outside those rights, a change of mind after a paid billing period has started does not automatically qualify for a full refund.
When we review refunds
BTG will review duplicate charges, billing errors, unauthorized payments, a paid service that was materially unavailable, or other exceptional circumstances.
Contact BTG promptly through an official private channel with the account email, charge date, amount, and reason. Do not send full card details or post payment information publicly.
Cooling-off and usage
Where applicable law provides a cooling-off period, requests made within that period will be handled according to those legal requirements.
If you expressly ask BTG to begin a paid service during a cooling-off period, applicable law may allow a proportionate deduction for service already supplied. BTG will not treat statutory rights as waived unless the law permits it and the required express consent has been collected.
Processing
BTG will acknowledge and assess a complete request within a reasonable time. Approved refunds return to the original payment method through Stripe; the time taken for the bank to display the refund is outside BTG control.
Cancelling future renewal is separate from requesting a refund for a completed charge.
